If you’re like me you have probably gotten an awful lot of emails over the past few weeks about privacy policy updates due to the GDPR.
In case you haven’t heard of it, the GDPR stands for the General Data Protection Regulation, which “aims primarily to give control to European Union citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.” Although it does not apply to North American citizens, I agree with the philosophy behind the GDPR that all companies should be fully transparent about what data they collect on people and how they use it and why they collect it.
I have decided to use this opportunity to assure my ministry partners of your personal information that has been collected and used at Sonset Point Ministries. We DO NOT and WILL NOT sell your e-mail or give your e-mail or other information to any third party. We use your e-mail simply to keep in touch with you regarding my newsletter, articles, my blog and Facebook. This I can reassure you of.
