When troubles and trials
pile up on top
of one another,
And everything we have tried to do
ends up in failure
and defeat,
Life seems so hopeless.
When there does not seem to be
a single ray of light
to lead us to believe
that things will ever get better,
And there is nothing we can do
to change the circumstances
in which our lives
have become entangled,
All hope seems gone.
Is it really hopeless?
No, not if you ask God
to take over the bits and pieces
of your fragmented life
And put them back together again.
The failures may still hurt,
and the troubles
may not all
go away,
But the future will not be hopeless.
With God all things are possible!
